Our sweet girl is turning 10 this week! I will wait until her actual birthday to go all emotional and tell you how much this is wrecking me that my girl is about to be in double digits. You're welcome! :)
Today, I will share with you her party that we had last weekend.
This was her first sleepover and it included many of her favorite things:
her two best friends,
owls,
creating,
polka dots,
dancing,
singing,
movies,
painted toes and
sweet treats.
Here are some pics from the night of fun and celebration:
I created a special birthday wreath. I love making these because they are so easy and so cute!
For the girls' party favors, we made pillowcases with their names on them.
I cut the letters and heat fused them on and then Nana hand stitched them on. Thank you, Nana!
The favors were inside a personalized paint bucket.
The bucket was later used as a popcorn bucket during the party.
I added a plastic liner before adding the popcorn.
The girls created their own owl cupcakes.
So cute and super easy! (Chocolate frosting, Oreo cookies, and M&M's) I found the idea here.
For serving trays, I hit our neighborhood garage sales the weekend before.
I found a set of candle stick holders and then I hot glued the polka dot plates to them.
I also found this frame at a garage sale.
It was gold, so I spray painted it with some green paint that we already had and
then I added this birthday printable.
We have had these paper lanterns forever. I use them at almost every party.
They make a great centerpiece and if you are careful taking them apart and storing them,
you can use them over and over.
This was the first time I added the battery operated tealights to them and it added such a nice glow.

The girls created their own pizzas. I had dough already rolled out into individual pizza sizes.
The girls added all of their favorite toppings.
The rest of the night was spent singing karaoke, dancing and watching a movie.
While they were watching the movie, I painted their toes. :)
It was such a fun night!
I loved hearing the girls giggle the entire time.
Now, I just have to pull it together and accept that my girl is about to be
10!
