I had a wonderful time at the Created for Care retreat this past weekend. It was once again, more than I could have imagined. Andrea and her team did such a fabulous job! If you are an adoptive momma or someone who supports adoption through love and friendship, you will love this retreat.

There are still a few spots available for the March retreat. If you are able to go, I highly recommend it. I will be at the March retreat as a volunteer and I am so excited to see even more of my friends then.
(Just of few of the AGCI mommas...love these ladies)
My favorite thing from the entire weekend turned out to be: A Date with God. Honestly, I did not think it would be for me, but God revealed something major to my heart. It was something that only He would know and be able to show me. By the end of the date, I was sobbing...you know...the good kind of sobbing.

(The artwork I created on my date, now hangs on our fridge to remind me of my special time with God)
I carried my camera around all weekend, but only got it out a few times. I was having too much fun to take pictures! Here are the pictures of a few of the friends I caught up with:
I cannot describe how awesome it was to hang out with Lauren.
She was my buddy before either of us began our adoption journeys and
now her family is on their second journey!
We traveled with Laura to Ethiopia when we were bringing E home
and her family was bringing Luke home.
Rory is as awesome in person as I thought she would be! I loved hanging out with her and I always love hanging out with Alison. Every time I see her I have flashbacks of when her family and Jenni's family welcomed Elijah home at our airport party.
My travel buddies
We shared so many laughs!
These ladies are such an inspiration to me,
Andrea and Dr. Susan Hillis (mother to 10)
Cris (It is such a shame....we live near one another, but I only see her at C4C.
note to self: just show up at Cris' house one day ;)
Kristi: our fearless leader...driving her bus!
Sweet Wes, our travel entertainment
Loved it!
