Once upon a time, there was a Southern girl (okay woman), who proofread all of the dossier paperwork many times. On the twentieth time of proofreading it, she felt it was perfect and sent it to their adoption agency. As the adoption agency reviewed the dossier, they found a paper, with one word, wrongly typed that must be resubmitted. {Gasp...the horror of realizing I was not perfect!!!} Since this is the first mistake this 32 year old woman has ever made...she feels she has a pretty good track record. {I joke folks...it is really the second mistake I have ever made}
The good news is that it was an easy form to fix. A new one was printed, notarized and overnighted to the agency. Our case worker said as soon as she receives it Monday, she will call us with our number on the waiting list. Yay! I will let you know Monday....

I panicked about the dossier paperwork too. Right before we sent it in I noticed that a date on one of our referrence letters said the year was 2029. Fortunately it was fixed quickly and there was nothing else wrong with it.

I'm just assuming that the number you would have gotten on Friday wasn't quite right, so God needed you to wait until Monday to get the perfect number that He has planned from the beginning! Can't wait to hear all about it on Monday! :)

I know totally how you feel....I had to redo a paper for my agency because I used the wrong pronoun....what??? You have to be kidding...but, yes!!! Hang in there:)
It could be worse...You could put in your paperwork only to find out that your husband has spelled his middle name wrong all his life. We got kicked out because Allen is actually Allan. That has never happened before...ever.
Whew! Now we can all rest a little easier knowing there's one less perfect woman out there.
LoL you are way too silly! Atleast it was just one little mistake (and I know your perfection was compromised!).
